Why Community?
Before Geoff and I got together we had made frequent moves across countries and states of Australia. Forming community bonds was difficult under these circumstances. Once we settled in South Perth we found that we had to create community links within our city suburb. Being introverted writers we found this equally difficult at first. It has taken almost 10 years to achieve a feeling of true community. We feel the rewards are immeasurable.
We felt so happy about this development that we wanted to share some of our community links with you to make it easy for you to make further enquiries about them if you so desired.![]()

The three photos are 1) Hillary’s Rotary at our latest egobucket presentation.2) Scarborough Probus Ladies on egobucket presentation. Both on19/10/2009
3) Scarllet, Rotary exchange student from Brazil in her fabulous coat of many badges. A great ambassador for two countries. Hillary’s Rotary sponsored her. They are also
organizing a fabulous ’Dolphin Wishing Well’ project at Hillary’s boat Harbour to raise $40,000, for local charities. So when the dolphin sculpture arrives in late October go and have a look. Dig deep into your pockets also if you are a local business or have the yen to help out this fabulous project. As we said the emotional rewards are well worth the outlay. See this link below for bulletin on the project:-
